FRP Gates For Barrages

By putting FRP gate in the barrages of river, pocket irrigation can create for drinking water and irrigation in surrounding areas of villages. FRP barrage gates or K.T.Weir gates are manufacturing by sandwiching FRP skin plate with fabricated M.S. Structure. FRP skin plate is at water side. All M.S. components are covering with glass fiber resin to protect from corrosion effect. ’Ni-Plast’ make barrage gates are tested in reputed Walchand collage of Engineering, Sangli under 5000 Kg UDL. Also it is used and tested at barrage of Mohal K.T.weir for 237 gates from last four years successfully. Provision of gauge marking for level, hooks for lifting, rubber seat to reduce leakages between two gates are made.
