• India with its current production of around 32 million MT of fruit, accounts for about 8% of the world’s fruit production.
• The diverse agro-climatic zones in the country make it possible to grow almost all varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables in India. The fruit production in India has recorded a growth rate of 3.9%, whereas the fruit processing sector has grown at about 20% per annum
• .The Producation have been extensively higher for frozen fruits & vegetables (121%) and dehydrated fruits & vegetables (24%). There exist over 4000 fruit processing units in India with an aggregate capacity of more than 12 lakh MT (less than 4% of total fruits produced).
• It is estimated that around 20% of the production of processed fruits is meant for exports, the rest caters to the defense, institutional sectors and household consumption, Mango and mango-based products constitute 50% of exports

Packing and Shipment Specifications :

• Every container in which any fruit product is packed shall be so sealed that it cannot be opened without destroying the licensing number and the special identification mark of the manufacture to be displayed on the top or neck of the bottle.
• Fruits and Vegetable products can also be packed in aseptic and flexible packaging material having good grade quality conforming to the standards laid down by BIS.

Standard Packing : 10, 20 or 25 kg packs in CFB boxes, Perforated PP bags or Jute bags as per customer (country) requirement.

Packing & Shipment Terms :

• Minimum Order Quantity - 500 kg
• Port of Loading - By Air from Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore, Cochin or Chennai, India.
• Port of Discharge - As per customer requirement.
• Pre-shipment Inspection - According to the specifications of AGMARK & Export Promtion Council and as per customer requirement for Weight & Quality.
• Shipment Terms - FOB / CIF according to Inco Terms 2010 and as per customer requirement.
• Payment Term - 100% by TT
• Delivery to Port of Loading - 15 days from the date of receipt of Confirmed Purchase Order and Payment Instrument
