Cucumbers popularly known in India as 'khira' and gherkins are part of the cucurbits variety of crops extensively grown in tropics, subtropics and milder temperate zones of India mainly as a salad crop. It is being grown in the country for almost 4000 years and is eaten raw, pickled or cooked. The Cucumber & Gherkin is a creeping vine that roots in the ground and grows up trellises or other supporting frames, wrapping around supports with thin, spiraling tendrils. The plant has large leaves that form a canopy over the fruit etc.
Available with us is a high quality Cucumber that we export to many countries. We make available for our clients two varieties in our stock one for pickling and other for slicing.
