The FDA requires a prescription for the FreeStyle Libre 2 system, and the FDA requires a new prescription even if you were already using the FreeStyle Libre 14 day system. EHCS will work with your healthcare team to obtain all required documentation. The FreeStyle Libre 2 reader is specific to the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. If you have a FreeStyle Libre 14 day reader, it will NOT work with FreeStyle Libre sensors. There is an app available for the FreeStyle Libre 2 system
