PARTAP” is a key name among the pioneers of printing and packaging industry in India. Late Mr. Partap Singh Arora set up a small unit of book sewing and allied machine parts in 1947. His son, late Mr. Ravinder Partap Singh Arora, a philanthropist, joined him in 1947. He expanded the business further by establishing a foundry for printing & packaging machinery which included paper cutting, punching, stitching & allied machines. Owing to his philanthropic nature, his focus shifted from business to social service. Thus, he went on to lay the foundation for one of its kind hospital specializing in cancer treatment, in his home town Amritsar, Punjab.
This was an opportunity in disguise for a lad to stand on his feet, be the next torch bearer of the business, and take charge of family responsibilities. Thus, in 1967 Mr. Hardip Singh Arora (son of Late Mr. R.P.S Arora) stepped into the business. He established another manufacturing plant of flexo printing and packaging machinery in Amritsar, Punjab. The entire business grew in stature and style. His younger brothers Mr. Gurmeet Singh Arora and Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Arora joined him and were given the management ownership of the Amritsar factories. To expand his business even further, Mr. Hardip Singh Arora piloted a project in Mumbai, the commercial hub of India. This was his chance to get the business to prosper in what is rightly known as the city of dreams. Thus, Partap officially took up the challenge of meeting the needs for modern, high speed & sophisticated machinery in the printing and packaging industry. Since then, Mr. H.S. Arora has been successful in setting two showrooms at Mumbai, Maharashtra: the Fort Branch, which stands in the business district of the city, and the Goregaon Branch, which is in close proximity to the International Airport.
Today, with a keen eye to build enduring client relations, PARTAP has established into a perfect destination for those seeking 360’ solutions for requirements of machine or plants in the printing and package manufacturing industries.
