The Forged 90 Deg Elbow is available in SR (short radius) elbows and LR (long radius) elbows. SR elbow is available with a center-to-face dimension of 1.0 X diameter and commonly used in tight areas where clearance is required. The LR elbows have center-to-face dimension of 1.5 X diameter, which is used when space is available and flow is more critical. The Elbow 90 deg fitting are generally used to change the direction in piping and are also known as "quarter bend". In addition, the 90 Degree Elbow is bent in a way to create 90-degree change in the direction of flow of content in the pipe.
