Main features of flexible insulated busbars

• Easy assembly: it could be easily bended and fixed with handsor easy tools.
• Possibility of reducing sizes of the equipment:
  • Due to favorable thermal radi ation properti es, the flexible insul ated busbars canhandl e 
    heavier current loads than solid busbars of the same cross-section.
  • Due to good insulating performance of the PVC, i t could be possible to reduce the di stances 
    between di fferent flexible insulated busbars and between the flexible insul ated busbars and 
    earth.
  • The bendi ng-radius could be smaller than that of normal cable or solid copper bars, so that 
    the connections could be more simple and short, and visually it could have better effect.
• Lower temperature riseon the flexi ble insul ated busbars than onnormal copper bars.
• High flexibility: no problem wi th vi brationsor thermal expansions.

Application of flexible insulated busbars

The flexi bil ity of the bars makes i t possible to install them into di fficul t equipment or small places 
very easily. They wil l be particul arly well used as connectors i n switchgears and between transformers, switching devi ces and prefabricated power networks.
