In a Flammability Tester the Fabric is kept at horizontally in a specimen holder rack. It is then exposed to the Flame of specified length at 90° from specimen and is left for burning. The time taken to burn the fabric is recorded on DIGITAL Timer. Also, the time taken to completely burn the sample is noted with the After-Flame Timer.
Paramount Flammability Tester i9™ is Next Generation Specialized equipment to determine flammability of the fabrics. It is made up of steel with toughened glass door. The PANEL housing all the controls is at Lower Front portion of the Unit. Specially designed fine gas regulator is provided to regulate the flame length smoothly. The specimen holder tray is specially designed in such a way to give exact Burning Period Time as soon as it is inserted into its position. The ashes produced after burning of samples is collected in the ash tray provided, which can be easily removed by opening the front door.
