Fingerprint device is equipped with a powerful processor and a flash memory. This exposes flexible API over a serial interface. Attendance and access control systems are normally configured and controlled using PC software. Users are first enrolled in the device PC system. PC software consists of GUI and a database. Once the users are enrolled in the PC software, it enrolls the same into the device. Thereafter it can be used as a stand alone device.
