    “In line” plate alignment recognition, axial accelerations of up to 1.5 g and a dynamic hole piercing process reduce the “unproductive cycle times” to a minimum.

    Real time control of the laser power (“ZipCut” function) allows previously unknown dynamic performance for sheet thicknesses up to 2 mm. Special software splits the components in a completely new way independently of their individual contours. Wherever possible the cutting head processes all contours lying in one direction. On the paths which are to be cut, flying starts come from the motion and the laser power is switched off synchronised to the end of the cutting path. The cutting program is quasi processed in rows and columns, paths are optimised and collisions avoided strategically. This means that the majority of the braking and acceleration cycles no longer happen. The FiberBlade IV is convincing not only through this but also by its remarkably smooth running despite its highly dynamic performance.

    Touchscreen control, clear structuring of the control, optimum accessibility to the cabin as well as “auto calibration of the nozzle characteristics” increase operator comfort.

    A mere 14 seconds for the pallet swap and automatic slag removal in both cutting and unloading areas complete the picture. Minimal maintenance requirements and online diagnostics facilitate very economic performance and maximum availability.
