ferrosafe uk-17 is liquid admixture used for corrosion protection of reinforcing steel used in concrete. the uni molecular layer formed by ferrosafe uk – 17 protects rcc steel from chloride and other corrosive ions in concrete.

 

application:

ferrosafe uk-17 is suitable for concrete structures that are going to expose to corrosion causing environments like…

bridges roads pipes tunnels retaining walls building balconies etc.

 

storage:

protect from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5® to 35® c shelf life one year

 

advantages:

• better corrosion resistance to chloride ions

• displays both anodic and cathodic protection of rcc steel

• good dispersion of it ensures complete coverage inside concrete

• combination of organic and inorganic inhibitors

• nitrite and chromate free.

 

direction for use:

 ferrosafe uk-17 being liquid admixture should be added to calculated batch water while mixing with cement or can be added directly in concrete mixer it can be added to transit mixer just before discharging the concrete, do confirm to mix the concrete wellwith ferrosafe uk-17 for 3 minutes. at 11-13 rpm speed.

ferrosafe uk-17 can be combined with boxer top mix din -125 superplaticizer but trials tests are always recommended

 

dose: 3 – 4 % by weight of cement.

handling precautions:
