What is factory compliance audit?
A Factory Audit or Supplier Audit (at Pro QC we call these Quality System and Compliance Audits) is a systematic evaluation of the quality system and compliance level of a supplier. The purpose of a quality control audit is to help our clients verify the capability and suitability of their suppliers.
The Factory Act Compliances began with the setting up the plant and the hours of labor and sanitation, age of commencing work, protection against accidents, mealtimes and holidays, the methods of remuneration, to the rate of wages and how often a work space must be lime washed. Compliance for a new factory or an existing factory not only calls for knowledge but also requires enormous efforts on the administrative front.
Effective monitoring system should be in place to ensure the voluminous compliance activities are carried out on time. All these efforts are essential to maintain a congenial IR climate apart from compliance and governance.
CDG's Factory Compliance Services offers the client the required knowledge base and designs technology driven systems and processes for completion of clerical activities to ensure compliance on a routine basis, thus freeing the client to focus on development and IR climate.

A supplier audit is when an organization audits a supplier to ensure that they are meeting requirements specified in a contract. These audits can be conducted on-site by reviewing processes or off-site by reviewing documentation submitted by the supplier, ensuring quality across your supply chain. The last step before placing an order is usually the factory audit. You can carry out a factory audit by visiting the factory yourself or you can hire a third party (CDG Inspection Limited) to do it on your behalf. Factory audit will help to improve the quality of your supplier chain and also reduce risk of your sourcing process from India. Factory audit (FA) refers to an onsite factory inspection that is carried out on behalf of an importer at the premises of the manufacturer before placing an order to a new manufacturer. Factory Audit is aimed at avoiding getting involved in a bind working with the wrong factory. During the Factory Audit, CDG auditor records data and takes pictures of all the essential aspects for the importer’s reference for them to have an in-depth feeling and sense about the factory before any contract is signed. A Factory Audit is compulsory before any order is locked in because it will (in the long run) save the importer from potential disaster, money loss, disappointment and business failure.
