With new Ethernet IO modules, Pepperl+Fuchs is expanding its product portfolio with additional interfaces to industrial fieldbus systems. The new modules offer an array of innovative features to provide users maximum flexibility and efficiency.
Whether PROFINET, EtherNetIP or EtherCAT, the modules support all common Ethernet protocols, and you can easily set the desired protocol type using the rotary selector on the device. Due to this multi-protocol capability, the modules are compatible with all common PLCs. This makes them easy to integrate into existing installations, independent of the type of PLC, and reduces the number of components needed. The result is lower costs and the ability to standardize plant design.
