Epoxy Pigments

Colourtech Epoxy Pigments are stable dispersions of dry organic/ inorganic pigment powders in a saturated polymeric plasticizer. They are used for coloring epoxy resins/hardner systems for all epoxy based applications. Epoxies are known for their excellent adhesion, heat resistance, chemical resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and very good electrical insulating properties.

Pigment Usage : Colourtech Epoxy Pigments can be used at 5-10% based on the weight of the resin. Small quantities of pigments can be mixed easily by hand stirring. However for large quantities of pigments, power mixing is essential. As a general rule the epoxy resin should be added to the pigment, with simultaneous stirring. Note that the hardener should be added to the pigmented epoxy at the actual time of use, according to the instructions of the epoxy resin system manufacturer.

A wide range of colors are manufactured as per our standard color chart. In addition, pigment colors are matched to BS, IS and RAL shades other than special shades as per customer's requirements.

• Used in Electrical and electronic components/ parts and for encapsulation, PCB's, electrical castings, switchgear panels
• Flooring of industrial buildings especially for Chemical, Bulk drug, Pharma, automobile industries, electroplating plants, power plants, process floor areas, acid storage plants where chemical, abrasion resistance is required. Epoxy floorings provide greater strength and durability with a dust free cleaner environment. Coatings for chemical holding vessels, gas storage vessels, pipes and other surfaces, laminates boards, non skid floors.
