This product is easily absorbed through the foliar & root system. As it has ascendant & descendant systemics, it acts quickly on sensible tissues & improves plant resistance against fungal attack. This mobility allows a uniform distribution of copper along the plant. ENGIMINS Cu has reinforcing & protective properties against some cryptogamic diseases, such as mildew, phytophthora, plasmopara, monilia, botrytis & bacteria pseudomonas etc.

1.   Copper is necessary for the carbohydrate & nitrogen metabolism. Inadequate copper results in stunting of plants. It is required for lignin synthesis which is needed for cell wall strength & prevention of wilting. Copper is an important component of several proteins involved in photosynthesis, respiration & lignification. Lignin acts as a physical barrier to the entry of pathogenic organisms.

2.Copper has been used in agriculture to control oomycetes fungi & bacteria over a century. It plays important role in IPM. In organic farming, disease management depends almost exclusively on its use. However, the use of this heavy metal may have long-term consequences due to its accumulation in soil, which appears incompatible with organic farming objective. Also used copper accumulated on plants of soil is hazardous to environment .
