Every machine has its own efficiency which is basically a ratio of output power to input power as a percentage. Machines mostly use popular induction motor (single Phase OR Three Phase); They rarely operate on full load and most of the time they operate on partial load or no load. Under such circumstances when the motor is on partial load or no load the power required by motor is less but actually excess power is fed to motor. Enertech's Energy Saver senses the exact power required by motor under different loading conditions and adjusts the power level to the motor's requirement. The excess power consumed in a motor (in the form of losses) is thus saved. There are no external capacitors required for Power Factor improvement. There is no starter required for this equipment. Existing starter will be continued in circuit. After saving the energy the motor speed remains same; motor KVA reduces, saving electricity. Principle of Operation : The energy saving is achieved through our proprietary firmware, which constantly monitors power factor of the load. Suitable program invokes correction of the Power Factor to ensure losses are reduced because of the inductive effect of the load. Working of Energy Saver :
It can benefit all 1-phase & 3-phase induction motor users. It is generally observed that most AC Motors are under full load for only limited periods and at other times are operating on partial loading or no load conditions. Under those conditions energy is wasted as heat, vibration, magnetic losses.
Unfortunately motors have no way of intelligently adjusting the amount of electricity they draw in relation to the work they do.
If one can intelligently monitor and reduce the power drawn by a motor to match its actual need then there is a lot of scope to save energy.
It uses a powerful Micro-Controller Electronics circuitry to supply proportional volts and allow required current to flow into the motor ensuring required torque potential is always available.
