ANIONIC EMULSIFIER provides a stable oil-in-water emulsion capable of tolerating most mud contaminants. ANIONIC EMULSIFIER lowers the interfacial tension between water and oil. The lowering of interfacial tension allows for oil-wetting of steel and solids surfaces. This oil-wetting imparts corrosion protection and lubricity to the drillpipe and casing.
