It has a specially designed battery management technology which ensures battery longevity and provides quick recharging cycles. It self recharges when there is power supply and switches automatically to battery system during power outage. The product comes with a one year warranty which covers any malfunctioning in the product. Functioning is as follows : switch on + electricity available = led bulb glow and charging. Switch on + no electricity available = led bulb glow. Switch off + electricity available = led bulb does not glow. Switch off + no electricity available = led bulb does not glow. At power cut, lumens level will be lowered by 40-50%.
