Contact SupplierElectro-oxidation produces strong oxidizing radicals that can break down a variety of wastewater pollutants such as BOD/COD, Personal Care and Pharmaceutical Product (PCPP) and pathogens. It is particularly suitable for wastewaters with high ammonia concentration where conventional biological treatments either do not achieve the required results or are cost prohibitive. A typical example where electro-oxidation is the treatment of choice is landfill leachate water where very high concentrations of ammonia require treatment. In addition, centrate from an anaerobic digester at a sewage treatment plant with high ammonia concentration is an ideal candidate for treatment using electro-oxidation.
Treatment performance of Electro-Oxidation?Electro-oxidation processes unlike traditional treatment solutions can treat ammonia in minutes not hours.
Does temperature affect Electro-Oxidation?Unlike conventional biological processes that see a large variability in performance from ambient or wastewater temperatures, performance of the electro-oxidation process is independent of temperature variations.
