DURA-CYL are vacuum insulated Liquid Gas Cylinders which allows storage of Cryogenic gases like Oxygen, argon, nitrogen at very low temperature ranging from — 183 deg C to — I96 deg C.
| Safety | Gas stored at 150 kg/cm2 g in h.p gas cylinders without any safety releif valves. in lgc liquid can be stored at as low as below 1 kg/cm2 g & then pressure built up to required level upto relief valve setting of 16 / 24 kg / cm2 g. normal use pressure in most application is upto 5 kg cm2/g. |
| Quality | Cryogenic grade purity available in LGC. H.P gas cylinder sometimes contains impurity which gives bad weld quality. |
| Capacity | 1 no. dura-cyl 200 litre LGC has capacity equivalent to 30 h.p. 7m3 gas cylinders. This means 20 times less handling & change overs during weld. |
| High Productivity | Studies have shown there is on an average15 minutes stoppage of work between change over of 1 H.P gas cylinder. Switching over to dura cyl 200 means 20 cyl x 15 mins = 300 minutes savings due to change over. |
