North Star Style -101 is duplex braided FOOD GRADE gland packing manufactured from pure PTFE fiber yarn without any additives. Dry PTFE fiber ensures safety & purity of the fluid media. It is recommended for oxygen services and oxydizing media. It is characterized by unusual flexibility that allows easier matching with components being sealed. High chemical resistant to aggressive media is the most important characteristics of North Star Style -101.
Application & Service Media :
North Star Style-101 is extremely suitable for slow moving rotating equipment like impeller pump & piston pump. It is an excellent packing for handling food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals & portable water treatment plants. It is resistant to water, oil, fuels, solvent, acid & alkalis except to strong oxidants.
