Dry Ice

The low temperature along with the direct sublimation to a gas also makes Dry Ice a highly effective coolant. Its sublimation as well as deposition point is -78.5 ^oC (-109.3 ^o F). Dry Ice is also extensively used for packaging the items that require remaining frozen or cool like ice cream and that too, without the use of a mechanical cooling.
