DOUBLE SKIN ROOFING

Double skin metal roof is a high-performance roofing system comprising of 2 metal roof sheets aligning parallel, One on top and the other at the bottom. The metal can be Steel, Aluminum, Colour Coated Galvnise, Galvalume, Colour Coated Galvalume.
The two metal sheets are fixed together with a Z Spacers creating a gap in the roof space for installation of insulation and barrier material, normally 48 density rock wool insulation is used in between two metal sheets it’s also called as sandwich panel. Double skin insulation is ideal solution to improve the indoor temperature, reducing exterior noise and fire protection of the entire system.
It has found its application largely in the power sector, auditorium, theaters, multiplexes and industrial and RCC Buildings. It is used both in roofing and wall Cladding.
