Double Cone Blender

Double Cone Blender or Mixer is an equipment and unique mixer which is used for uniform mixing and blending of dry Powders & grains. It is one of the simplest forms of mixer which consist of two cones whose openings are offset to each other along its axis to provide uniform mixing (See fig ). This offset of the taper cone helps entire mass inside the cone mixer to tumble up & down compared to simple cone mixer. Double cone mixer is used to mix gaur dal with water in guar gum plant and homogeneous lubrication of granules, grains, powder in most of the industries.

• The cone is statically balanced to avoid any excessive load on the gear box and motor
• While the powder can be loaded into the cone through a wider R, C opening, it can be discharged through a Mucon valve or a slide valve.
• Depending upon the product, paddle type baffles can be provided on the shaft for better mixing
• Maximum care has been taken to ensure safe operation of the unit. It can also be operated through a timer.
• The contact parts are made of 5.5.304 or 5.5.316 quality as per requirement flame-proof motor can be supplied as optional
• Capacity: 20 liters to 3000 liters
