R ajasthan Barytes Ltd. was incorporate in the year 1983 as a joint venture company between Dr. M.S.Singhvi and Rajasthan State Mines Development Corporation (RSMDC) a Government of Rajasthan Undertaking with an agreement that all the shares will be brought back by Dr. M.S. Singhvi with in a span 5 years. By year 1988 all the shares were brought back by Dr. M.S.Singhvi. The majority of the Shareholding in Rajasthan Barytes Ltd., is held by Dr. M.S. Singhvi and his wife Usha Singhvi. Rajasthan Barytes Ltd has two sister concern namely Usha Microns (P) Ltd. and S.S. Roadlines which are also engaged in mining and processing of industrial minerals. The Group turnover of all the companies combined was Rs.19.20 Crores for the year 2007-08. All the three Companies are working under management of Dr. MS. Singhvi the Board of Directors are as per list enclosed Rajasthan Barytes is engaged in mining and processing of the following industrial minerals :- 1. Barytes : Lease area of 31 Ha situated at Village Jagat – 35 KM from Udaipur. 2. Calcite : Lease area of 47 HA situated at Village Gayphal – 80KM from Udaipur. 3. Limestone : Lease area of 5 HA situated at Village Karoli – 38 KM from Udaipur. 4. Quartz Silica : Lease area of 5 HA situated at Village Khamnor Situated at 100 KM from Udaipur. 5. Talc Calcite : Lease area of 115 HA situated at Village Lohagarh 130 KM from Udaipur. All the above minerals are mined from the company’s or sister companies own mines and are bought to companies processing facilities situated at Udaipur. The total grinding capacity is 10,000 Tons per month at the moment which will be increased to 13000 tons per month from March,2009.
