This is a "Dokra Brass Deer" handcrafted by State awardee Sansari and Golap for Kruti By Maahuaa. Metal Dokra Craft is a rare clay cast technique kept alive by few craftsmen mostly tribal. Kruti fully supports revival of this rare craft form which traces its history to Mohenjodaro days. Maahuaa Roy incubates metal Dokra products with State awardee couple Sansari and Golpa and their entire team of artisans through the protective umbrella of our partner organisation Nyaya Sahayak Samiti.
