• Lap sponges are made of pure cotton cholorine free bleached hydrophilic gauze. An X-ray thread incorporated into the sponge decreases the risk during surgery (60% barium multifilament yarn).
• Each sponge features a cotton loop for easy location and retrieved during surgery that increases the safety.
• Lap sponge are asigned for straining large amount of systemic fluids from the OP field.
• Sterile lap sponge are packed in medical grade paper/film peelable blister packing pouches sterilized by ETO.
