This time-tested product has been specifically designed to assess the rust-proof ability of components to withstand corrosion due to atmospheric conditions. It provides complete flexibility in simulation of real life weathering conditions.
The test temperature in the chamber is user adjustable from ambient to +45°C and is controlled by a PLC controlled PID. The touch screen installed in the SK salt spray chamber is a powerful tool that eases the analysis of corrosion resistance for a wide variety of sample types. A special zero corrosion PT 100 sensor is incorporated in the touch screen. It also has 8 function keys, a 3M flash memory and provides a USB host for a USB flash drive.
The SK salt spray chamber is double walled and is fitted with a glass wool insulation, which ensures that the results are accurate and reliable enough to meet the international standard of testing. The chamber incorporates the latest technology including an Air Flow Meter which regulates the air flow from 0 to 30 psi. It is also equipped with an air jacket heating system which ensures uniformity and reliability.
This testing equipment is particularly useful in quality control laboratories, where they are used for comparative testing. A see-through cover optimizes test observation by providing continuous direct visual observation of the test item.
Further, the SK salt spray chamber is fully tested before shipment and comes with an instruction manual & a calibration certificate. It strictly adheres to ISO, ASTM, JIS, IS and DIN standards.
