The 8" diameter collector meets specifications for statistical accuracy. Each time the bucket tips, a count is transmitted to the indoor display,and the gauge empties. You never have to empty the gauge. Wired and wireless models available. with either a single counter or dual counter display. The single counter models display up to 9.99" of rain and can be reset to zero after each rainfall. The dual counter models feature both a current counter which records rainfall in hundredths of an inch with a capacity of 9.99", as well as an accumulation counter which records rainfall in tenths of an inch up to 99.9" of rain and allows you to select the number of individual rain events recorded. A long-life lithium battery with an approximate life of one year is included. Mount this gauge out in your own yard and record the rainfall sitting inside the house.
