Steel frame prevents flexing ensuring greater accuracy in measurement. Insulation at top and bottom end of the frame safeguards against data distortion due to thermal expansion. Non – wearing carbide tipped anvil & measuring faces ensure accurate measurements over a long period of time. Each piece comes with a standard ball attachment that converts a regular micrometer into a pipe micrometer, enabling measurement of pipes, tubes, etc.
