Automatic/Manual Mortar Mixer, 5 litre nominal capacity Application: Preparation of standard prisms with Automatic/Manual mixing procedure in accordance with IS:10890, EN 196-1 & EN 196-3.This apparatus has specially been designed to prepare cement mortar for strength determination as specified in IS:4031. It can also be used in mixing lime with pozzolonic materials for determination of lime reactivity (as per IS: 1727) and for uniform mixing of soils with additives such as lime, cement, etc.
| Special Features : Microprocessor control • Choice of automatic mixing cycles • Sand Dispenser • Water burette The mixer is designed to mix mortars and cement pastes primarily to the requirements of EN 196. The mixing paddle has a planetary motion and is driven by a motor with a microprocessor based speed and program controller. The mixer can be operated either in an automatic or manual mode. When the mixer is used in the manual mode, the two mixing speeds can be changed by means of a soft touch button, without switching off the motor. In the automatic mode any one of the pre-set mixing programmes may be selected. Also, AIM-412-4 has been designed to prepare cement mortar for strength determination as specified in IS:4031.
