It's universal design enables it to calibrate both plunger and lever DTI's (Dial Test Indicators). It can also be used for calibration of bore gauges. The unit also determines gauge hyteresis which is not possible using conventional gauge blocks. This dial gauge calibrator can be used in calibration laboratories and also be used for roaming shop floor gauge calibration checks as it is a portable device. The test is performed by comparison with the master gauge. The calibrator uses the Abbe's principle. 
SPECIFICATIONS : 25 mm travel covering the majority of common indicators Accepts lever indicators with stylus up to 40 mm long Computer interface for efficient calibration reports. Plunger dials with 8mm or 3/8” shank can be tested. Bore gauges up to 150 mm can be checked.
