Denosumab Injections are used in treatment Osteoporosis; It is used to treat bone loss in men during treatment of prostate cancer and in women with breast cancer where they have risk of fractures. It is given to strengthen the bones, making them less likely to break and gain density of bones. Denosumab is not chemotherapy drug but side therapy to those suffering from bone metastases from breast, prostate and other solid tumour of cancer And People with multiple Myeloma

Dosages - Denosumab injection is given in every 6 months as per guide lines of physician or Healthcare expert, it is subcutaneous injection given under skin, 120mg/1.7ml vial

Precautions –   Tell your doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic denosumab injection or its any ingredient which may cause other side effects. The most common side effects of denosumab injection skin rashes, Urinary tract infections, chest infections, Sciatica, Constipation, limb pain, Cataract and eczema.  Osteonecrosis of the jaw –ONJ has been commonly reported in patients receiving denosumab

Supplement of calcium and Vitamin D necessary in all patients unless hypocalcaemia is present

 Storage – Keep away from light & and moisture, May be store at room temperature for up to 30 days with original packing
