Deflazacort 6mg tablets are primarily prescribed for the treatment of autoimmune conditions, inflammatory disorders,  and cancer. The medicine belongs to a category of drugs called corticosteroids highly beneficial in the treatment of Duchene muscular dystrophy in adults and children above 2 years of age. An autoimmune condition is a health disorder where the body becomes unable to distinguish between the body’s cells and foreign cells. Therefore, the immune system starts attacking the native cells and organs thereby, leading to medical conditions like Duchenne muscular dystrophy, psoriasis, and arthritis.
