Siroi feels pleasure to welcoming you for the new approved Deck Cadet Course from IMETA (Institute of Maritime Education & Training Australia).Your career in Siroi will start after 12th with a pre-sea training programme, later on-board training leading to Australian Deck-Watchkeeper to get an Australian CoC.
Three Phases that lead to becoming a Merchant Navy Officer
Phase 1: Four month approved pre-sea programme at Siroi Maritime Academy. This implies four months Residential Training in Siroi.
Phase 2: 24 months sea service on ships more than 500GT, along with IMETA Approved Distance Learning Programme
Phase3: -Post -Sea Training of 8 months in TAFE Hunter Institute Australia for Officer’s Exams.
After completing three phases, Our Australian Cadets will be provided the Diploma in Transport and Distribution along with Certificate of Competency from Shipping Ministry, Govt. Of Australia.
