Dihydromyrcenol is a synthetic organic compound from the group of the acyclic terpenoid alcohols . It is a fragrance with a strong, fresh, lemon-like, sweet citrus and floral scent . Dihydromyrcenol is mainly used in the composition of fragrances for soaps , detergents , detergents , air fresheners and citrus - and lemon-like fragrance .It displaces therewith various kinds of citrus oil, which have the disadvantage that they have large amounts of the allergen limonene and therefore also are even more sensitive to oxidation
