Applications :

• Basic Chromium Sulphate is used for Tanning of all type of Leathers as main Tanning agent. It can also be used in  Re-Chroming of Leather in Tannery.
• It is also used to Manufacture Chrome based Syntans and Dyestuffs.
• In Textile Industries it is used in dying of Khakhi cloth.

Methods of Usage in Tanning :

• Basic Chromium Sulphate can be used either by dissolving it in warm water and adding the solution in to the tanning drum (or)
• More commonly by adding the powder directly in to the tanning drum

Specification :

• Basic Chromium Sulphate is fine free flowing dark green colour powder, free from Cr6+, formaldehyde and other banned Azo Dyestuffs.
• It is not toxic and is hygroscopic in moist air and easily dissolves in water.

• Chromium Oxide content (Cr2O3) - 23.25% ± 0.25% &  25.75% ± 0.25%
• Basicity - 33% ± 2%
• PH - 3.0 ± 0.25
• Moisture content - 7% ± 2%
• Cr6+  - Below Detectable Limit
• We can also make Basic Chromium Sulphate of any Basicity as per Customer Requirement.

Packing :

• Basic Chromium Sulphate is packed in 50 Kg capacity HDPE laminated bag with inner liner for Local use.
• For Export it is packed in 25 Kg Paper Kraft laminated bag with inner liner.

Storage : Basic Chromium Sulphate should be stored in Dry and well-ventilated place. It should be kept away from direct sunlight.
Safety Precautions : Basic Chromium Sulphate has harmful effect on the eyes.After contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
