Contact SupplierProduct Description: D-Cox is a coccidiostat formulated to prevent coccidiosis in young goats during the critical weaning phase. It contains the active drug ingredient Decoquinate (6%) to combat Eimeria christenseni and E. ninakohlyakimovae, the common coccidia species affecting goats. Target Animals: D-Cox is specifically intended for young goats during the weaning period. Dosage and Administration: Consult a veterinarian or livestock expert before using D-Cox. Administer the product orally, preferably mixed with feed or water. The recommended dosage is to provide 22.7 mg decoquinate per 100 lbs (0.5 mg per kg) body weight per day. Mix D-Cox thoroughly into the goat’s ration. Duration: Feed D-Cox for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure or when experience indicates coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard. Types of Medicated Feed: Type C Medicated Feed (Complete Ration): Mix D-Cox into the complete feed to provide the proper decoquinate levels daily. Example dosages: 0.5 lbs per ton of feed (13.6 g/ton) for 20 lbs body weight 0.7 lbs per ton of feed (19.0 g/ton) for 14.3 lbs body weight 1.0 lb per ton of feed (27.2 g/ton) for 10 lbs body weight Storage: Store D-Cox in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Follow any specific storage instructions provided on the packaging. Precautions: Monitor goats closely for any adverse reactions. Discontinue use if unusual symptoms occur and seek professional advice.
