Indications :

• Induction and maintenance of remission in acute myelocytic leukaemia of both adults & children.
• Acute lymphocytic leukaemia

Dosage :

• Normal adult dosage : Doses of upto 200mg/m2 daily as a continuous IV infusion over 24 hours for 5 days. Total 1000mg/m2.
• Single agent therapy : IV infusion for five days (120 hours) repeated at approximately two weekly intervals.
• Meningeal Leukaemia : Intrathecally 5 mg/m2 to 75 mg/m2 body surface area OD for 4 days to once every 4 days.
• Combination Therapy : 100 to 200 mg/m2 per day by continuous IV infusion (days 1 to 7) or 100 mg/m2 IV every 12 hrs (days 1-7).

Dosage Adjustment :

• Renal Impairment : Not Necessary.
• Hepatic Impairment : Required.
