About cylindrical moulds
as per is : 516, is : 10086-1982.
These are used to cast cylindrical cement concrete
specimens for compressive strength tests.
Specification
• these moulds are made of cast iron
• the moulds is split vertically into two parts.
• the mean internal diameter is within +- 0.2mm and
height is within +- 1mm.
• the ends are machined to +- 0.05.
• the base plate and top plate are machined flat to +-
0.03mm
• available size
a) 50mm dia x 100 mm ht.
B) 75mm dia x 150 mm ht.
C) 100mm dia x 200 mm ht.
D) 150mm dia x 300 mm ht.
E) 300mm dia x 600 mm ht.
F) 450mm dia x 900 mm ht.
