Contact Supplierlimpet coils are an excellent method of heat transfer. They offer reduced heating/cooling times and a greater degree of accuracy in controlling product temperatures by allowing high pressures and high velocities of the heating/cooling medium thus reducing production costs.
limpet coils are manufactured as a continuous coil and then fitted and welded to the vessel. They can be supplied in single or multiple zones or as a dual circuit.
dimple jackets are also excellent methods for heat transfer by allowing high flow rates and high pressure thus reducing heating/cooling times when used with flow guides.
conventional jackets are ideally suited to smaller vessels though there are no limits and can be incorporated into the largest of vessels. The use of spiral baffles in conventional jackets to obtain higher flow rates increases heat transfer thus reducing heating/cooling times.
both limpet coils and dimple jackets can offer considerable cost savings over conventional jackets by allowing reduced vessel wall thickness when jacket pressure is the controlling factor.
if you need to heat and/or cool the contents of your vessel, we can offer you a range of options internally and/or externally to suit your process needs.
