(2.5VA, 5VA, 7.5VA. 10VA, 15VA, and 30VA) Accuracy of class in metering CT is 0.1, 0.2, 0.2S, 0.5, 0.5S, 1.0 or 3. The standard accuracy class in protection CT is 5P, 10P or 15P and the accuracy limit factor 5, 10, or 15. The special purpose of current transformer applications is balanced protective system and distance protective schemes. The requirements of PS class are rated knee point voltage and maximum exciting current at the knee point voltage and the resistance of secondary winding at 75° C.
