CDG provides Cruelty-Free certification services in Thane.

We are an ISO 17065 accredited certification body. Our certification mark is recognized worldwide.

Cruelty Free International works to end animal experiments worldwide. CDG do this by investigating and exposing the reality of life for animals in laboratories. CDG challenge decision-makers to make a positive difference for animals. And we champion better science and cruelty free living.

Saying no to animal cruelty doesn’t just extend to buying vegan leather. It extends to almost every aspect of your life, including beauty and skincare. For the longest time, cosmetic companies have been using animals for product and chemical testing. Rats, rabbits, mice, cats, and dogs: millions of these animals are caged in labs across the world, and millions of them die every year in a lab after being tested on, tortured, and drugged.

Rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats are still injected, force-fed and killed for cosmetics testing around the world. We believe this is ethically unacceptable and unnecessary.

    COSMETICS

Despite great progress over the past thirty years, animals continue to suffer in laboratories all over the world in tests required by governments for ingredients used in cosmetics. These tests include dripping cosmetics chemicals into animals’ eyes, shaving their fur and rubbing them into their exposed skin or forcing them down their throats. Once the tests are over, the animals will be killed and dissected.Animal tests are increasingly being replaced with quicker, cheaper and more reliable non-animal methods. These modern methods are more relevant to humans and have been found to predict human reactions better than the traditional outdated animal tests.

Alternative methods are tests that use simple organisms like bacteria, or tissues and cells from humans (vitro tests), and sophisticated computer models or chemical methods (in silico and in chemico tests).

Companies can use computer models to predict toxicity based on the known chemical structure and behavior of the existing ingredient.

For more than 50 years, animals have been used in painful tests for cosmetics. But science and public opinion have evolved and today it is no longer necessary or acceptable to harm animals for new cosmetics.

With at least 190 million animals used in research and testing worldwide every year, the need for a global organisation working solely on this issue has never been greater.

Despite growing public concern and increasing availability of more humane and human-relevant non-animal methods, animals continue to be used in cruel and unreliable tests all over the world.

In 2009, it prohibited tests for cosmetics ingredients and, finally, in 2013 it prohibited the sale of cosmetics that had been tested on animals. The EU’s approach became the blueprint for regulatory change in countries around the world, like India, Israel and New Zealand. Since then, more and more countries and states in the USA , Brazil and India have adopted similar laws.

Our association, CDG gives genuine Cruelty free testaments, generally called not took a stab at animal’s endorsements to the creators of drugs and magnificence care items, supporting their things that they are vegan and have not been taken a stab at animals.
