The creep drive is a special planetary gearbox where in the input & output shaft both are solid and the body is mounted on both the sides with pedestal bearings. The constriction of creep drive is single stage planetary. The creep gearbox installed after main motor. Hoist gear box starts the reduction which is primary reduction to main gear box however when high speed required creep motor is off and brake is released and main motor gives drive to the primary gear box.
