Contact SupplierThis family of unique composite materials consists of tungsten combined with copper. The refractory metals are insoluble in copper. They do not form alloys & cannot be made by conventional melting & casting methods. Instead they are made by powder metallurgy techniques. Certain complex geometries such as multiple angles, steps, radii & combination of these shapes can be incorporated into the die tooling & pressed into the part. Mipalloy engineers stand ready to assist in the design & selection of your materials. Modern metallurgical, chemical, electrical & destructive test facilities provide any additional design or problem solving assistance that you may require.
