Copper Iodide

Copper iodide, also known as cuprous iodide is an inorganic chemical compound. Its chemical formula is CuI and its melting point is 606°C, It has a wide variety of applications which include cloud seeding, dietary supplement and organic synthesis. The colour of samples of copper iodide is usually even or tan, and reddish brown when found naturally in Marshite minerals. However, in pure form prepared by copper iodide manufacturer in India its colour tends to be white. Due to the aerobic oxidation of the copper iodide it may lose its colour as it reduces to Iodine
