It is suitable to determine the corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuels, automotive gasoline, natural gasoline or other hydrocarbons having a Reid vapor pressure no greater than 124 kPa, cleaners solvent, kerosene, diesel fuel, distillate fuel oil, lubricating oil, and other petroleum products. The instrument has the function of temperature controlling, timing and alarming.
Used for detecting the presence of corrosive sulpher in petroleum products. The apparatus consists of a bath either dual purpose (500C & 1000C) or a boiling bath (1000C only) without stainless steel and copper strips of definite size 6 bombs or 18 test tubes can be accommodate in each type of bath with different temperature regulation system to operate on 220 volts AC. mains.
Units can be used to test samples that do not require a test such as diesel fuel, fuel oil, automotive gasoline, Stoddard solvent, kerosene and lubricating oil.
