The motors are totally enclosed (IP55), Flange type , 420 V, 3 ph, 50 Hz., induction weather proof with extended shaft and are specially designed for cooling tower application. Fans are directly driven by electric motors in small models and coupled through gearbox in larger models subject to the tip speed of the fan.
