These are Dynamic Pumps suitable for direct and indirect drives by variable or fixed speed prime-movers. BASIC DESIGN This pump essential consists of impeller supported in two Ball Bearings and the body. The drive is sealed by the shaft seal.Bearings are designed for B10 life. The pump body is made of light weight aluminium alloy casting and the impeller is made of bronze alloy casting. One of the outstanding performance characteristics of this pump is its ability to operate with a closed discharge valve. When operating in this manner at constant speed, the pressure builds up to a definite figure known as the shutoff pressure and does not exceed this figure.
