Vedan Virgin Coconut Oil (Extracted from Coconut Milk) is the best healthy cooking oil. It has zero cholesterol and contains 53% lauric acid. Most vegetable (polysaturated) cooking oils such as Soybean oil, Corn oil, Safflower oil, Canola Oil. Etc., are unstable at high heat. This means that such oils oxidize at heat and the polysaturated fatty acids degrade to become toxic compounds.
